RMHS Girls’ Basketball Coach Kara Melillo, staff, and players are holding a skills and drills clinic for grades 3-8. The clinic will run five weeks on Saturday mornings, starting on September 26th. Players will be separated into sessions by grade. Our mission is to teach future Rockets’ basketball players the fundamentals of the game, while having them work with and meet some of the current RMHS basketball players. Through personal instruction, we will develop young athletes’ skills and knowledge in all aspects of the game, including shooting, dribbling, passing, and defensive drills. What athletes gain from this clinic will improve their game throughout the year. We strive to build well-rounded athletes by providing a fun and positive environment and helping players develop a love for the game of basketball.
