Target archery is for everyone!  Why let the kids have all the fun?  All archers will learn archery safety, range procedures and how to shoot a bow through a step-by-step shooting process.  USA Archery range rules are learned and followed on the range.  Youth archers can participate without an adult family member, but adults must have a registered youth family member in order to register.  See you on the range!  No experience is needed.  All equipment is provided.About the Owner and Lead Instructor:Bob Wait is the JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) club coach of On Site Archery. At Super Soccer Stars, it is our goal to teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment.  Our philosophy is to use soccer to nurture, to build self-confidence, and to develop teamwork in every class.  Our specially designed curricula use positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to ensure that each child improves at this/her own rate while having endless fun.  Prior to the start of the program (usually a day or two before the class starts), all registered participants will receive an email from the staff at Super Soccer Stars which will welcome you to the program and provide important information regarding the program. Please note that the program for children ages 2-3 years old is a Parent & Me program.
 
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM    Babysitter Training Workshop (Ages 12-18) - Babysitters Training
This Babysitter Training Workshop will prepare young teens better to be a more responsible, trustworthy babysitter for family and friends. This class includes techniques in interviewing with parents, infant & toddler care, diapering, feeding, creative reading, activities for young children, appropriate snacks, handling bedtime issues, basic first aid, and tips for a safe babysitting experience.  Instructor, Debbie Laflamme, has a degree in Early Childhood Education and operated as a licensed day care provider in Massachusetts and cared for children of all ages in her home for over 20 years.  Today she is a private care provider.Please send your child with a water bottle and snack.

Let's build strength, flexibility and confidence!  We'll have fun with Yoga with themed activities, stretch it out, and enjoy mindful moments.  Class is geared towards physical and emotional well-being.  We'll practice poses, build strength, develop focus, enhance flexibility, and enjoy moments to practice mindfulness.  We will incorporate Yoga games set to music and with meaningful themes each week!  Bring your mat and water bottle to each class.Instructor:  Connie Pustorino

From swinging on a high bar to balance beams, tumbling on mats to leaping into a ball pit - your child is sure to have a blast... for the love of play!!

We will introduce five core sports: Soccer, T-Ball, Touch Football, Frisbee, and Dodgeball, and help develop your child’s sensory and gross motor skills in our exciting Preschool program!

Welcome to the fastest growing sport in America.  Pickleball is a game for all ages and skill levels and is not only fun but is great exercise too! Pickleball combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis (ping pong).  Beginners will learn fundamentals and strategies of the game as well as player health and safety.  Beginners will concentrate on the rules, regulations, and etiquette of pickleball.  Pickleball can be played as singles or doubles, and games will be of the non-competitive nature. THE BEGINNER CLASS IS FOR BEGINNERS ONLY!  DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS UNLESS YOU ARE A BEGINNER.  PLEASE REGISTER FOR ONLY ONE SESSION TO GIVE MORE PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRY PICKLEBALL!  Space is very limited. Due to the limited amount of space, registration is open to READING RESIDENTS ONLY.

Bump, set, spike volleyball is a low-pressure way to help our students learn and develop their volleyball skills. This session will include instruction on the six fundamentals of volleyball: passing, setting, spiking, serving, digging, and blocking. Players will also participate in a variety of learning activities and fun skill-building challenges and games. Players are welcome to bring their own volleyball if they would like, but it is not required. This program is open to both boys and girls. Come and play like a champion!

This workout creates a lean, firm, sculpted body by combining the principles of Pilates and isometric exercises.  This class will condition the core and sculpt the legs to build strength while improving strength and flexibility.  We will use chairs and various props such as gliding discs, tubing, Palates ball, bands and light hand weights.  Please bring a mat, 1-3 pound hand weights and water to each class.  All levels welcome.Instructor:  Connie Pustorino

Players will also participate in a variety of learning activities and fun skill-building challenges and games. Players are welcome to bring their own volleyball if they would like, but it is not required. This program is open to both boys and girls. Come and play like a champion!

SNL Sports will be running an All Sports clinic during February & April vacation.  If your child is looking to stay active over the break and participate in a variety of sports and games, then the SNL All Sports Clinic is the place to be!!  Everyday the participants will play at least 2 different sports like dodgeball, wiffleball, basketball and capture the flag, to name a few.  This clinic is designed to be all about fun!  Please send your child with a non-refrigerated snack for half-day and a non-refrigerated snack and lunch for full-day.

Ninja Warrior is a blend of fitness, flexibility, strength, skill, and of course, fun! Throughout class, participants will engage in various drills, elements, games, and obstacle courses. From scaling up cargo nets on a truss to walking across balance beams, climbing over the A-frame to hanging on monkey bars, this class allows participants to have fun while progressing through various elements… for the love of play.

Come join the Sports Zone Lieutenants as we test our individual and team effectiveness in battle! This awesome program puts a fresh spin on traditional games like capture the flag, while also allowing children to get great exercise, learn some strategic planning skills, and make new friends. Each day will feature different games with individual and team-based challenges, so the students always have something new to strive for. We will also have all sorts of obstacles for the students to interact with, so they never know what to expect! There will be no shortage of fun in this program, and we provide all the necessary supplies, so join the excitement today! Participants should bring water and wear comfortable shoes.

This program is recreational pick-up basketball for men ages 18+ and will be overseen by Friends of Reading Recreation volunteer, Jack Malley.  All abilities are welcome.
