Amazing Athletes uses a multi-sport program to benefit children ages 2-5 physically, mentally, socially and emotionally.  Our program introduces the fundamentals of 10 different sports (soccer, hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, lacrosse, football, track and field, baseball and golf) in a non-competitive environment.  Children in Amazing Athletes routinely gain greater confidence, learn to combine fitness with fun and develop 6 key motor skills:Balancing / Running / Jumping / Throwing / Catching / KickingPrior to the start of the program, all registered participants will receive an email from the staff at Amazing Athletes which will welcome you to the program and provide important information regarding the program. PLEASE NOTE:  The Thursday program was cancelled on Thursday, September 16th due to rain. 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM    LEGO Adventures Club (Ages 5-10) - Happy Halloween
Design, build, create, PLAY!!  Children can build individually or with friends as they create a LEGO scene out of hundreds of thousands of LEGOs!  The LEGOs will stay but the memory will last a lifetime. Participants will go home with a framed photo of themselves taken holding their LEGO creation to show friends and family what they designed and built.Please send your child with a peanut-free snack and drink.Instructor:  Diane Benson, M.Ed.

Join Coach Hopkinson of the RMHS Volleyball program and the athletes for 5 weeks of fun!  Each Saturday, athletes will learn the basic skills of the game in a fun setting at the RMHS field house.  This youth volleyball program is appropriate for abilities.  Our elementary age participants will be able to participate in our Junior Rocket program where the skills and equipment are modified for age appropriate play.Participants in grades 6-8 can participate in our Rocket program.  This programming is unique as it is a clinic/league program.  Participants of this program will have the opportunity to compete against other communities in October (dates TBD).  All participants will receive a Rocket Volleyball T-Shirt.Grades 1-5: Clinic format. Participants will learn fundamental skills of volleyball in a group setting. Focus will be to work towards game play at the end of the session. Grades 6-8: Team format. In this playful yoga class designed especially for elementary-aged children, they will learn yoga poses, breathing and relaxation exercises which cultivate a calm mind, increase strength and flexibility, improve gross motor skills and improve concentration.  Each child should bring a water bottle and a mat to every class.Instructor:  Connie Pustorino

For a fun and healthy competitive sport that offers a workout for both mind and body, you can try fencing.  Fencing offers many health benefits including increased flexibility, leg strength and endurance, and improved coordination.  Additionally, because fencing requires you to learn how to predict and outwit your opponent, it is a sport that can greatly improve your concentration, reflexes and ability to notice small details.  Children and teens alike who are interested in the sport can learn fencing with the New England Fencing Alliance.   About the Instructor: Michael Tarascio was a member of the United States World Championship Team in Men’s Foil. Michael is a Level 4 Foil coach certified through the United States Fencing Association. Also, certified through the Positive Coaching Alliance and the American Sports Education Program. He teaches Recreational Classes for Youth, Teens, and Adults. Also, Michael teaches Advanced Level Technique and Tactics Classes and provides Individual Coaching for the Serious Competitive Fencer. This class is a 30-minute circuit workout.  We start with 5 minutes of warm up, then 30 minutes of circuit training, ending with 5 minutes cool down and stretch.  Every week is a different circuit using different forms of equipment meant to keep your body challenged and never bored.  Please bring a mat and water to every class.Instructor:  Connie Pustorino

Join us for this exciting sport, one of the fastest growing in the world. People of all ages are fascinated by the movements and excitement of fencing and are eager to find a place that they can go and learn this original, modern sport. The philosophy of Super Soccer Stars United is centered on providing players with a nurturing yet challenging environment which encourages every player to express themselves, be creative and take educated risks on the soccer field.  While Super Soccer Stars United is a competitive program by description, it is developmental in nature; technical improvement and confidence-building remain the program's primary objectives.  Our licensed and experienced coaches follow curriculum components to help each player achieve individual milestones while fostering long-term group and team development in a harmonious environment.  It is an excellent tool to support any town or recreational soccer program for players looking to continue to develop.Prior to the start of the program, all registered participants will receive an email from the staff at Super Soccer Stars which will welcome you to the program and provide important information regarding the program. Please note that the program for children ages 2-3 years old is a Parent & Me program.  The Tuesday program for Ages 3-young 4 (10:20AM-11:05AM) was cancelled on September 28th due to rain.  The make-up for this missed class will be Tuesday, October 26th at 10:20AM-11:05AM.

This Babysitters Training Workshop will prepare young teens better to be a more responsible, trustworthy babysitter for family and friends. This class includes techniques in interviewing with parents, infant & toddler care, diapering, feeding, creative reading, activities for young children, appropriate snacks, handling bedtime issues, basic first aid, and tips for a safe babysitting experience.  Instructor, Debbie Laflamme, has a degree in Early Childhood Education and operated as a licensed day care provider in Massachusetts and cared for children of all ages in her home for over 20 years.  Today she is a private care provider.Please send your child with a water bottle and snack.
