Are you feeling stressed or out of sorts?  This class will revitalize your body, relax the mind, increase energy and reduce stress.  Linking together traditional yoga poses to create strength, flexibility and balance, you will learn a whole new understanding of mind/body awareness.  This class is for all levels and abilities.  Please bring a towel, yoga mat and water to every class.  All levels welcome!Instructor:  Connie Pustorino
 
7:15 PM - 8:05 PM    Barre Fusion (Ages 18+) - Barre Fusion - Winter/Spring Session 1
This workout creates a lean, firm, sculpted body by combining the principles of Pilates and isometric exercises.  This class will condition the core and sculpt the legs to build strength while improving strength and flexibility.  We will use chairs and various props such as gliding discs, tubing, Palates ball, bands and light hand weights.  Please bring a mat, 1-3 pound hand weights and water to each class.  All levels welcome.Instructor:  Connie Pustorino

Target archery is for everyone!  Why let the kids have all the fun?  All archers will learn archery safety, range procedures and how to shoot a bow through a step-by-step shooting process.  USA Archery range rules are learned and followed on the range.  Youth archers can participate without an adult family member, but adults must have a registered youth family member in order to register.  See you on the range!  No experience is needed.  All equipment is provided.About the Owner and Lead Instructor:Bob Wait is the JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) club coach of On Site Archery. We will introduce five core sports: Soccer, T-Ball, Touch Football, Frisbee, and Dodgeball, and help develop your child’s sensory and gross motor skills in our exciting Preschool program!

This Sunday Jr. Basketball Clinic is for children in Grades K-1 and will focus more on skill building and fun drills for the younger hoopsters in Town.  We'll be lowering the nets down and using smaller balls to make  the game more fun for the players.  Each week, players will do station drills and other fun games to acclimate them to the game of basketball.  Players will gradually work toward playing mini-games as the session progresses.  SPACE IS LIMITED... REGISTER EARLY!!There will be no clinic on Sunday, December 22nd and Sunday, December 29th.

Reading Youth Basketball In-Town program is for boys and girls in grades 2-5. In-Town Basketball is strictly recreational and should be approached as such. This program will run on Sundays only. Players will be placed on a team and will receive their own shirt and number! No team/player requests please. During the 75-minute sessions each week, teams will practice and play games for a designated portion of time. This may vary from week to week. Hoops will be lowered to 8 feet for the 2nd and 3rd grade divisions and use smaller balls. All teams will be capped at 12 players or less (space is limited).  The Sunday League rules dictate the exact amount of playing time each individual receives. Playing time is based on the number of players per team.  We will be holding a mandatory coaches meeting prior to the start of the season. SPACE IS LIMITED... REGISTER EARLY!! At Amazing Athletes, we empower children by using sports as a catalyst to engage their inner strengths and abilities so they can confidently pursue an active lifestyle through each stage of development.  Through our structured active play, Amazing Athletes advance 7 different motor skills:Balancing / Running / Jumping / Throwing / Catching / Kicking / BowlingOur non-competitive classes let children build confidence in a safe and fun environment while also building teamwork and good sportsmanship.Prior to the start of the program (usually a day or two prior to the start of the program), all registered participants will receive an email from the staff at Amazing Athletes which will welcome you to the program and provide important information regarding the program.

Welcome to the fastest growing sport in America.  Pickleball is a game for all ages and skill levels and is not only fun but is great exercise too! Pickleball combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis (ping pong).  Beginners will learn fundamentals and strategies of the game as well as player health and safety.  Beginners will concentrate on the rules, regulations, and etiquette of pickleball.  Pickleball can be played as singles or doubles, and games will be of the non-competitive nature. THE BEGINNER CLASS IS FOR BEGINNERS ONLY!  DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS UNLESS YOU ARE A BEGINNER.  PLEASE REGISTER FOR ONLY ONE SESSION TO GIVE MORE PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRY PICKLEBALL!  Space is very limited. Due to the limited amount of space, registration is open to READING RESIDENTS ONLY.

This workout creates a lean, firm, sculpted body by combining the principles of Pilates and isometric exercises.  This class will condition the core and sculpt the legs to build strength while improving strength and flexibility.  We will use chairs and various props such as gliding discs, tubing, Palates ball, bands and light hand weights.  Please bring a mat, 1-3 pound hand weights and water to each class.  All levels welcome.Instructor:  Connie Pustorino

This Sunday Jr. Basketball Clinic is for children in Grades K-1 and will focus more on skill building and fun drills for the younger hoopsters in Town.  We'll be lowering the nets down and using smaller balls to make  the game more fun for the players.  Each week, players will do station drills and other fun games to acclimate them to the game of basketball.  Players will gradually work toward playing mini-games as the session progresses.  SPACE IS LIMITED... Do you love puzzles? Have you ever put your skills to the test? Join Recreation and Elder & Human Services for an intergenerational competitive jigsaw puzzle event!  Competitive Puzzling is back for a Valentine's Day special event! Sign up with family members or as an individual, minimum 4 participants per team with a max of 5.  Those who sign up individually will be randomly placed on a team based on numbers. Once teams are created, each team will receive identical 300-piece puzzles and 60 minutes to complete as much as possible. Once the timer starts, open the boxes and get your puzzling on in a race to beat your competition! Date: Wednesday, February 5th Time: 4:00-5:30Location: Pleasant Street Center

Do you love puzzles? Have you ever put your skills to the test? Join Recreation and Elder & Human Services for an intergenerational competitive jigsaw puzzle event!  Competitive Puzzling is back for a Valentine's Day special event! Sign up with family members or as an individual, minimum 4 participants per team with a max of 5.  Those who sign up individually will be randomly placed on a team based on numbers. Once teams are created, each team will receive identical 300-piece puzzles and 60 minutes to complete as much as possible. This Sunday Jr. Basketball Clinic is for children in Grades K-1 and will focus more on skill building and fun drills for the younger hoopsters in Town.  We'll be lowering the nets down and using smaller balls to make  the game more fun for the players.  Each week, players will do station drills and other fun games to acclimate them to the game of basketball.  Players will gradually work toward playing mini-games as the session progresses.  SPACE IS LIMITED... Hardwood Hustle Fall Basketball Skills Academy offers weekly skill development training in a positive and encouraging environment, allowing athletes to develop their skills, build confidence and develop a love for the game!  Our Hardwood Hustle coaches are passionate and experienced, having played or coached at the Division I, II or III levels.What to ExpectAges 6-8:  Developing basic and core fundamentals and learning the rules of the game in a fun and interactive way.Ages 9-13:Emphasize on skill and payer development, court awareness and competition through mini-games like 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3.

This workout creates a lean, firm, sculpted body by combining the principles of Pilates and isometric exercises.  This class will condition the core and sculpt the legs to build strength while improving strength and flexibility.  We will use chairs and various props such as gliding discs, tubing, Palates ball, bands and light hand weights.  Please bring a mat, 1-3 pound hand weights and water to each class.  All levels welcome.Instructor:  Connie Pustorino

Target archery is for everyone!  Why let the kids have all the fun?  All archers will learn archery safety, range procedures and how to shoot a bow through a step-by-step shooting process.  USA Archery range rules are learned and followed on the range.  Youth archers can participate without an adult family member, but adults must have a registered youth family member in order to register.  See you on the range!  No experience is needed.  All equipment is provided.About the Owner and Lead Instructor:Bob Wait is the JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) club coach of On Site Archery. Welcome to the fastest growing sport in America.  Pickleball is a game for all ages and skill levels and is not only fun but is great exercise too! Pickleball combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis (ping pong).  Beginners will learn fundamentals and strategies of the game as well as player health and safety.  Beginners will concentrate on the rules, regulations, and etiquette of pickleball.  Pickleball can be played as singles or doubles, and games will be of the non-competitive nature. THE BEGINNER CLASS IS FOR BEGINNERS ONLY!  DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS UNLESS YOU ARE A BEGINNER.  PLEASE REGISTER FOR ONLY ONE SESSION TO GIVE MORE PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRY PICKLEBALL!  Space is very limited. Due to the limited amount of space, registration is open to READING RESIDENTS ONLY.
