In cooperation with Reading Recreation, Tennis Professional, Gregg Luongo, rejoins our summer team. Gregg has been a Professional Tennis Instructor for 35 years. He is a certified member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), and played as the #1 singles player for Reading Memorial High School and the University of New Hampshire. Currently, Gregg is a Tennis Pro at Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly. This program is a great way to get introduced to tennis and/or to build upon existing skills at all levels. A session consists of 5 group lessons Monday through Friday except for Week A which is 4 days (Tuesday through Friday).
If a class is cancelled due to weather, all make-ups are scheduled directly with Gregg Luongo.
The Quickstart Tennis Program (Ages 12-18) is for participants that are ready to learn and develop basic fundamentals of forehands, backhands, serves, and volleys for practice drills and skill games. Players at the higher level will be developing skills in rallying, control, and point play. This is a great class for those looking ahead to high school tennis.

LOCATION: All Summer tennis programs are held at the Reading Community Tennis Courts at the Birch Meadow Complex at the High School.
