Sports Zone 101: Hi-Five Sports (Ages 3-5) - Hi-Five Sports - Fall Session 2 This toddler recreational sports program is designed to introduce young children to the joys of physical activity while developing essential motor skills in a fun, safe and supportive environment. The program will focus on the following:Basic Motor Skills - Running, jumping, balancing, throwing and catchingCoordination & Agility - Engaging activities that build hand-eye coordination and body control.Social Interaction - Encouraging teamwork, sharing and following simple instructions.Why It Matters - Early childhood is a critical time for developing physical literacy. The program helps toddlers build confidence, independence and a love for being active. By learning through play, children develop foundational skills that support healthy growth and prepare them for future sports and activities.

Volleyball Clinics (Grades 1-5 and Grades 6-8) - Jr. Rocket Volleyball (Grades 1-5) Join Coach Hopkinson and her RMHS Volleyball staff for 5 weeks of volleyball. This program is open to all levels and abilities. There are two sessions offered for grade levels. Grades 1-5 will participate in our Junior session and participants in Grades 6-8 will participate in our Middle School session. Each week, participants will engage in a variety of fun activities and games. The Middle School participants will also have the opportunity to participate in volleyball play days with other local communities. All participants will receive a Rocket Volleyball T-Shirt.PLEASE NOTE: There will be no Volleyball on Saturday, October, 11th (holiday weekend). Babysitter Training Workshop (Ages 12-18) - Babysitters Training This Babysitter Training Workshop will prepare young teens better to be a more responsible, trustworthy babysitter for family and friends. This class includes techniques in interviewing with parents, infant & toddler care, diapering, feeding, creative reading, activities for young children, appropriate snacks, handling bedtime issues, basic first aid, and tips for a safe babysitting experience. Instructor, Debbie Laflamme, has a degree in Early Childhood Education and operated as a licensed day care provider in Massachusetts and cared for children of all ages in her home for over 20 years. Today she is a private care provider.Please send your child with a water bottle and snack.
