Do you love puzzles and a little friendly competition? Put your skills to the test at this intergenerational competitive jigsaw puzzle event hosted by Recreation and Elder & Human Services! Competitive Puzzling is back for a Valentine’s Day themed event. Sign up as a family, with friends, or as an individual. Only one person needs to register per team; individuals who register alone will be placed on a team on the day of the event. Teams will consist of 4–5 participants, with a maximum of 10 teams total. Once teams are set, each team will receive the same puzzle and have 60 minutes to complete as much as possible. When the timer starts, open your box and race against the clock and each other to see which team comes out on top! Date: Wednesday, February 11 Time: 4:00–5:30 PM Location: Pleasant Street Center, 49 Pleasant Street, Reading

Nowhere are your manners more evident than at the dinner table. How you dine with others shows your social consideration and self-awareness. In this workshop participants are taught how to navigate their way through a meal at a restaurant with grace and courtesy, how to order food, talk to waitstaff and respect others at the table. After the workshop students will have a better understanding of restaurant manners and confidently demonstrate proper etiquette when dining out.Why You Should Enroll Your Child?
