9:00 AM - 11:00 AM    Friends of Reading Recreation (FORR) Men's Pick-Up Basketball (Ages 18+) - FORR Men's Pick-Up Basketball - Spring Session
This program is recreational pick-up basketball for men ages 18+ and will be overseen by Friends of Reading Recreation volunteer, Jack Malley.  All abilities are welcome.
 
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM    Pickleball - Beginners (Ages 18+) - Beginner Pickleball - Winter Session II
Welcome to the fastest growing sport in America.  Pickleball is a game for all ages and skill levels and is not only fun but is great exercise too! Pickleball combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis (ping pong).  Beginners will learn fundamentals and strategies of the game as well as player health and safety.  Beginners will concentrate on the rules, regulations, and etiquette of pickleball.  Pickleball can be played as singles or doubles, and games will be of the non-competitive nature. THE BEGINNER CLASS IS FOR BEGINNERS ONLY!  DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS UNLESS YOU ARE A BEGINNER.  PLEASE REGISTER FOR ONLY ONE SESSION TO GIVE MORE PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRY PICKLEBALL!  Space is very limited. Due to the limited amount of space, registration is open to READING RESIDENTS ONLY.
 
1:30 PM - 3:00 PM    Pickleball - Intermediate (Ages 18+) - Intermediate Pickleball - Winter Session II
Continue your pickleball journey with this Intermediate course!  This class is not intended for people wanting to learn how to play pickleball, but for people who have already taken the beginner class or know how to play and keep score.  This class is intended to advance your game to the next level by reducing unforced errors, practicing and putting it all together while playing games.Due to the limited amount of space, registration is open to READING RESIDENTS ONLY!

Knucklebones T-Ball engages participants in learning to play like a pro.  Starting with tees and progressing to underhand pitching, we focus on basic rules, batting techniques, fielding and running the bases, all while incorporating outside the box equipment and activities to encourage engagement.  The last class will be for bragging rights as participants take on adults in a game... for the love of play!!
