This toddler recreational sports program is designed to introduce young children to the joys of physical activity while developing essential motor skills in a fun, safe and supportive environment.  The program will focus on the following:Basic Motor Skills - Running, jumping, balancing, throwing and catchingCoordination & Agility - Engaging activities that build hand-eye coordination and body control.Social Interaction - Encouraging teamwork, sharing and following simple instructions.Why It Matters - Early childhood is a critical time for developing physical literacy.  The program helps toddlers build confidence, independence and a love for being active.  By learning through play, children develop foundational skills that support healthy growth and prepare them for future sports and activities.

This fun "learn to play" program uses a pre-game warm up of rotating teaching stations to improve throwing, catching and hitting! Then all players participate in a Fun "controlled" mini game! PLAY BALL! Parent volunteers and Rec staff will lead a 15 minute practice followed by 45 minutes of instructional game play. Each participant will receive a t-shirt uniform at the first session and rosters and schedules will be emailed out the week of September 9th. 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM    Family Archery (Ages 9+) - Archery - Fall Session I
Target archery is for everyone!  Why let the kids have all the fun?  All archers will learn archery safety, range procedures and how to shoot a bow through a step-by-step shooting process.  USA Archery range rules are learned and followed on the range.  Youth archers can participate without an adult family member, but adults must have a registered youth family member in order to register.  See you on the range!  No experience is needed.  All equipment is provided.About the Owner and Lead Instructor:Bob Wait is the JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) club coach of On Site Archery. His certifications include:- USA Archery certified level 3 National Training System Coach- Physical Education Teacher- BS in Education - University of Massachusetts, Amherst
