Looking for ways to encourage and practice age-appropriate independence with your child? Looking for summer activities to keep your kiddos busy?
Reading Public Schools, Reading Public Library, Reading Recreation Division, and the Reading Coalition are proud to bring you
LET GROW! A Summer Challenge
How to participate:
- Parents or Guardians take the adult pledge (be official and sign online or do it in the kitchen – just commit!)
- Kids take the kid pledge and create their “license”
- Register for FREE on Recreation Division Website below to let us know you’re IN! This way, we can email you updates and ideas.
- Check out the independence kit to decide what independent challenge you are going to take on first Let Grow Summer Experience Kit & Activity Ideas or check out our town specific ideas here
- Each week (or as many weeks as you can), complete at least one new independent activity, job, or task!
- Fill out your “challenge slip” and turn it in at any of our turn-in locations to collect your weekly prize & enter your slip into one of the end of summer raffles!
