Recreation Summer Daycation: Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program - 2021 (Grades 9-10)

Reading Recreation CITs will assist Counselors and Specialty Counselors and will move around as needed throughout the program week. This program is designed to give youth entering the 9th and 10th grade a summertime experience that is fun but also teaches responsibility, leadership, and good communication skills. Please note that this program insists that its participants are assertive and self-motivated. The success of this program depends on the willingness of the CIT to communicate with staff and participants effectively.  CITs are not guaranteed positions as Reading Recreation Counselors in future years. 
 
COVID PROTOCOL:
Information will be sent prior to the week that your child is attending.

REFUND POLICY FOR THE CIT PROGRAM:
If you need to cancel the CIT program, Reading Recreation will only issue Reading Recreation account credits.  There will be no refund checks issued for the CIT program this year.
