Daycation
Reading Recreation is excited to be offering our 2021 Junior Summer Daycation! Recreation Junior Daycation is being offered for children ages 4 and 5.  The ratio for participant to counselor will be 6:1.

The Recreation Junior Daycation will look a little different than in years past. Children will stay in designated outdoor and indoor areas at Coolidge Middle School each week. The total number of children accepted will also be contingent upon guidelines and the space available to us. We plan to take no more than 15 children at this time.
 
This Summer will feature a variety of activities in sports & games, cooperative games, science & nature and arts & crafts.  Each child will be asked to bring 2 snacks and a non-refrigerated lunch. All children will have to wear masks but we will ensure safe mask breaks for any child who needs it.
 
Our Daycation Program will be overseen by two seasoned Program Supervisors who have been working at our summer program for the past 10+ years as well as a majority of returning Summer Counselors. The Recreation Administrator and Program Coordinator will also be frequently monitoring the program.

COVID PROTOCOL:
Information will be sent prior to the week that your child is attending.
 
REFUND POLICY FOR SUMMER DAYCATION:
If you need to cancel Summer Daycation, Reading Recreation will only issue Reading Recreation account credits.  There will be no refund checks issued for Summer Daycation this year.
