Minecraft economy has never been as exciting as Minecraft World Builder! This 8-week class will meet once a week on Tuesdays. You will learn how to run a city, manage money, protect the environment, all within the 3D world of Minecraft! This class is not coding based but more real-world economics, city planning, and life management! In Minecraft World Builder, you will be a part of a committee and learn to manage money by building onto your ever-growing city with your peers, all by using the Minecraft World Builder mods!
Concepts your child will learn
Your child will learn real-life money management, town designing, environment protection, public speaking, presentation skills, and economics all within the very popular 3D video game Minecraft.
Class Outcomes
At the end of your class, your child will have an understanding of money management and the costs associated with building towns; how selling items from a shop affects the economy; how to present presentations through virtual meetings while defending their position on certain topics and making connections to the real world through Minecraft!
**Children will be separated by age/level into groups.
Prerequisites - No prior coding knowledge or experience is required.
- A modern PC or Mac computer with at least 4GB of RAM and 256MB processor speed. Tablets/Chromebooks are not supported for this class.
