App Coder - Code Android Mobile Apps (Ages 9-13)

Code Wiz will be running this virtual program via Zoom meeting. All students will need to have the zoom app installed on their computer prior to the class to connect to the meeting link. A Code Wiz coordinator will be sending out the zoom link for the class to all parents of participants and it will include all instructions needed for the class.  Please note that in order to participate in this virtual program, you will need either a PC or a Mac.  Chromebooks are NOT suitable for this program.

Students will explore the fun of programming android mobile apps while gaining the required skills required to be an app developer! Create Doodle apps, basketball trivia, space invaders, and your very own “Google” search engine! You will be able to innovate and also acquire computational skills with the MIT media lab learning environment. The colorful visuals and appealing animations will stir your creativity. When you’re done with your app, you can push the app to your mobile device to play with friends and family at home!
