Ski and Snowboard Program, Nashoba Valley (Grades 3-8)
Program Scheduled to begin on Tuesday, January 5th, 2027 (Weather/Conditions Permitting)
Reading Recreation is pleased to offer the Nashoba Valley Ski and Snowboard Program in 2027! This program will run for five consecutive weeks starting Tuesday, January 5th. If the program is forced to run into late March, cancelled sessions cannot be made up and refunds/credits will not be granted by either the Reading Recreation Division or Nashoba Valley Ski Area.
Parents, please understand that the nature of this program requires participants to behave independently without constant adult supervision. Participants should know how to put on all equipment appropriately and safely, this should not be the first time your child has ever gone skiing or snowboarding. Time management skills are extremely important to ensure participants return to the bus on time. There will be a 15:1 children to chaperone ratio. Nashoba Valley staff is not included in this ratio. Registration will open on Wednesday, October 14th at 8:00AM and will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Transportation will take place at the lot across from Coolidge Middle School. Children must arrive no later than 3:10pm and parents must be at the pick-up no later than 6:45pm. The program begins Tuesday, January 5, 2027.
Program Fees: Lift/Transportation - $420
(NO SNOWBOARD LESSONS or SKI LESSONS this year - Lift and Transportation ONLY)
Renting Equipment: A separate rental night will be held on Tuesday, November 17th at the Pleasant Street Center (Senior Center, 49 Pleasant Street) from 6:00PM-7:00PM. Ski Rental Corp. will fit renters for their ski/snowboard equipment.
Rental Fees:
Ski Rental (5 weeks): $180
Helmet Rental (5 weeks): $50
Helmet Purchase: $75
Goggle Purchase: $50

REFUND POLICY ~ PLEASE READ!!! ~
On or before December 1st, 2026
Refund minus $10 in the form of a check or a full credit to your Reading Recreation account to use for future Reading Recreation programs.
After December 1st, 2026:
No refund checks or Reading Recreation account credits will be given for any type of cancellation as we are locked into Nashoba Valley Pricing.
