Tennis, Tiny Tots (Ages 3 1/2 - 5) Summer Morning Clinics - Session B In cooperation with Reading Recreation, Tennis Professional, Gregg Luongo, rejoins our summer team. Gregg has been a Professional Tennis Instructor for 34 years. He is a certified member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), and played as the #1 singles player for Reading Memorial High School and the University of New Hampshire. Currently, Gregg is a Tennis Pro at Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly. This program is a great way to get introduced to tennis and/or to build upon existing skills at all levels. A session consists of 5 group lessons Monday through Friday except Week B is 3 days (Monday through Wednesday). Average ratio of participants to instructors in a given session will be a minimum of 4:1 and maximum of 8:1. If a class is cancelled due to weather, all make-ups are scheduled directly with Gregg Luongo.The Tiny Tots Summer Tennis program is designed to introduce younger children (Ages 3 1/2 - 5) to the game of tennis and to have fun on a tennis court. Tennis, Tiny Tots (Ages 3 1/2 - 5) Summer Morning Clinics - Session C In cooperation with Reading Recreation, Tennis Professional, Gregg Luongo, rejoins our summer team. Gregg has been a Professional Tennis Instructor for 34 years. He is a certified member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), and played as the #1 singles player for Reading Memorial High School and the University of New Hampshire. Currently, Gregg is a Tennis Pro at Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly. This program is a great way to get introduced to tennis and/or to build upon existing skills at all levels. A session consists of 5 group lessons Monday through Friday except Week B is 3 days (Monday through Wednesday). Average ratio of participants to instructors in a given session will be a minimum of 4:1 and maximum of 8:1. If a class is cancelled due to weather, all make-ups are scheduled directly with Gregg Luongo.The Tiny Tots Summer Tennis program is designed to introduce younger children (Ages 3 1/2 - 5) to the game of tennis and to have fun on a tennis court. Tennis, Quickstart (Ages 12-18) Summer Morning Clinics - Session E In cooperation with Reading Recreation, Tennis Professional, Gregg Luongo, rejoins our summer team. Gregg has been a Professional Tennis Instructor for 34 years. He is a certified member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), and played as the #1 singles player for Reading Memorial High School and the University of New Hampshire. Currently, Gregg is a Tennis Pro at Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly. This program is a great way to get introduced to tennis and/or to build upon existing skills at all levels. A session consists of 5 group lessons Monday through Friday except for Week B which is 4 days (Monday-Thursday). Average ratio of participants to instructors in a given session will be a minimum of 4:1 and maximum 8:1. If a class is cancelled due to weather, all make-ups are scheduled directly with Gregg Luongo.The Quickstart Tennis Program (Ages 12-18) is for participants that are ready to learn and develop basic fundamentals of forehands, backhands, serves, and volleys for practice drills and skill games. Tennis, Tiny Tots (Ages 3 1/2 - 5) Summer Evening Clinic - Tiny Tots (Ages 3 1/2 - 5) Summer Evening - TUESDAYS Once again we will be offering children tennis classes in the evening. This program was put together with working parents in mind who were unable to register their children for morning classes, although the class is open to everyone. Participants will attend the class for 7 consecutive weeks (except Thursday class is 6 weeks due to July 4th holiday on Friday). Participants are also welcome to choose more than one day per week. If a class is cancelled due to weather, all make-ups are scheduled directly with Gregg Luongo. If you know that you may be going away for a week or so, you will be able to make the classes up during one of the many other class times.The Tiny Tot group is designed to introduce younger children to the game of tennis and to have fun on a tennis court. Games will be designed to promote fundamentals and interest in the sport. Children will begin to development movement skills, hand-eye coordination and basic stroke production. This is a great age for children to learn these skills which can help in all aspects of sports play. Gregg has been a Professional Tennis Instructor for 34 years. He is a certified member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), and played as the #1 singles player for Reading Memorial High School and the University of New Hampshire. Currently, Gregg is a Tennis Pro at Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly. This program is a great way to get introduced to tennis and/or to build upon existing skills at all levels. A session consists of 5 group lessons Monday through Friday except Week B is 3 days (Monday through Wednesday). Average ratio of participants to instructors in a given session will be a minimum of 4:1 and maximum of 8:1. Tennis, Adult Beginner Class (Ages 19+) - Adult Beginner Tennis - WEDNESDAYS The Beginner class is designed to introduce the game of tennis to a new adult player and to build upon stroke technique for beginners. Focus over the course of the session will be to develop skills towards live ball hitting and knowledge of all aspects of the game. This program will run for 7 consecutive weeks on Wednesdays.
