Coach McGonagle along with other talented collegiate coaches and players, will give each athlete the fundamentals and skills needed to help them advance in their current position and to explore other positions. At the same time having some much needed outdoor fun and playing games.

SNL Rec on the Run! (Ages 8-14) - Rec on the Run! Does your child love to run? Do they want to learn more about the fundamentals of running? This program is geared for children ages 8-14 that want to get moving and begin to experience the joy that running can bring. Each session will be a different style run, helping the kids to build off the session before and grow stronger each time. Running can be a lifetime sport and teaches such valuable lessons on how to mentally and physically dig deep, show perseverance and commitment! The last session will be a fun run race format that the kids will build to get ready for! The race will be a one-mile race with prizes given to the top three finishers!Participants will only need to bring athletic clothes, running shoes and water!

Rocket Lacrosse Boys Clinic (Grades 3-10) - Rocket Lacrosse Boys Clinic Rocket Lacrosse Clinic is a lacrosse program for players of all skill levels from grades 3rd -10th. Run by Brendan Murphy, Birch Meadow teacher, former Assistant Coach of the Year, and Offensive Coordinator for Reading High, along with Martin Bowes. Martin is a professional coach, former D1 college player at the University of Hartford and played professionally with the Boston Cannons & Florida Launch. Both Brendan and Martin have extensive experience running lacrosse programs, including Nike camps and coaching all positions. The focus will be on skills development, fun and social & emotional development using a curriculum that develops skills and concepts with both drills and game play. Prizes will be provided at the end of the week and players will end the week with a personal development plan to take home. It is open to players from Reading and all surrounding communities.Players need to bring a non-peanut snack as well as lunch each day with water. Additional water will be provided to refill. Equipment Needed:Field Players - Helmet, certified chest protector, elbow pads, gloves, protective cup and cleats or turf shoesGoalies - Helmet w/ throat guard, certified chest protector, gloves, protective cup and cleats or turf shoes

Amazing 100 Experiments Middle School Hands-On Science (Grades 5-8) - Amazing 100 Experiments Middle School Come join this very cool and fun summer program! Over the past 30 years, Top Secret Science (www.TopSecretKids.org) has worked hands-on with over 2 million local children. Curriculum and inquiry based, this program is geared for middle school students who just can’t get enough science!! Each day the kids will explore up to 20 weird and wacky hands-on science experiments and will make and take home at least 10 different projects. The scientists are fast paced and funny and your kids will be thoroughly entertained (they’ll even learn some interesting things too like problem solving, critical thinking and scientific reasoning). We will explore physics, simple machines, forms of energy, crazy chemistry, science games, science magic and more. Be prepared for lots of fun stuff. Each child receives a Free Top Secret Science Tee Shirt! A wonderful 6 hours of science each day. Hope to see you there!
