SNL Field Hockey Clinic (Grades 3-8) • Register • View Cart •

The SNL Field Hockey Clinic invites players entering grades 3-8 of all levels and abilities to enhance and learn new skills this summer.  Players will have the opportunity to grow their abilities and knowledge of the game in a fun and competitive environment.  They will learn and practice the core foundations of field hockey.  This will include trapping, passing and receiving, ball control, shooting and defensive tackling.

All are welcome to come and learn from Julia Hand and her elite coaching staff.  Julia is one of the most decorated goalkeepers in Saint Anselm College history where she played for four years.  A key player in her team's NCAA Division II National Championship runner-up finish in 2019, Julia started 22 games and led all of the NCAA Division II and the Northeast-10 Conference with a goals-against average of 0.25 and a save percentage of 0.868, claiming the NCAA Division II statistical championships in both figures.  Recording 14 shutouts on the year, including nine straight to begin the 2019 season, Julia only allowed five goals on the season on the way to Second Team All-American honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association.  

The NE10 Goalkeeper of te Year in 2019, Julia also earned First Team All-Conference honors and began her career with NE10 All-Rookie Team honors in 2017.  In 59 games played from Saint Anselm, Julia racked up a 46-13 record (.778) and logged a program-record 23 shutouts.  Upon graduation, her 46 wins as a backstop place her first among active NCAA Division II student-athletes.  After her successful career as a goalkeeper at Saint Anselm College, she was a volunteer assistant coach for two seasons where she helped teach the next generation of goalkeepers.
