Animate! Create Animations with Code (Ages 9-12)

Code Wiz will be running this virtual program via Zoom meeting. All students will need to have the zoom app installed on their computer prior to the class to connect to the meeting link. A Code Wiz coordinator will be sending out the zoom link for the class to all parents of participants and it will include all instructions needed for the class.  Please note that in order to participate in this virtual program, you will need either a PC or a Mac.  Chromebooks are NOT suitable for this program.

Paint and tell a story from your perspective all with code. Express your creative side by learning how to create gripping animations and transitions using Javascript. With a snap, you’d create interactive web-based animations that look really cool! In this course, students will use code to simulate a sunrise and sunset, simulate the Fibonacci sequence, recreate the classic snake and ping pong games that can be played directly in the browser. Amazing stuff for your portfolio!
