Reading Recreation is excited to introduce our first overnight Educational and Social Program for children in the 5th grade.  This two-day program will take place on Reading’s Teacher In-Service Day: Friday, March 22, 2019 to Saturday, March 23, 2019!   
 
Located on beautiful Great Herring Pond in Plymouth Massachusetts, Bournedale boasts a curriculum based on current Massachusetts state standards in science and social studies. This overnight program will offer a series of one-hour group presentations. These one hour lectures and live demonstrations are a perfect complement to the hands-on educational class activities. Your child will participate in activities such as coastal ecology, marine biology and fresh water ecology. Additional class options include engineering and technology, rocketry.

The bus will depart from the parking lot across from the Coolidge Middle School. Please arrive with your child by 8:15AM on Friday morning, March 22nd. Pick up will be on Saturday, March 23rd around 7:00PM.

REFUND POLICY:  Full Refunds, less a $10 administrative fee, will only be given up until March 14, 2019. After that time, full refunds will only be granted in the case of injury or illness. A doctor’s note may be required. No additions to the program can be made after March 19, 2019, unless space allows.
