Program Scheduled to begin on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 (Weather/Conditions Permitting)
Reading Recreation is pleased to offer the Nashoba Valley Ski and Snowboard Program in 2024! This program will run for five consecutive weeks starting the first week in January. If the program is forced to run into late March, cancelled sessions cannot be made up and refunds/credits will not be granted by either the Reading Recreation Division or Nashoba Valley Ski Area.
Parents, please understand that the nature of this program requires participants to behave independently without constant adult supervision. Participants should know how to put on all equipment appropriately and safely. Time management skills are extremely important to ensure participants arrive to lessons on time (if registered) and return to the bus on time. There will be a 15:1 children to chaperone ratio. Registration will open on Tuesday, October 17th at 8:00AM and will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Transportation will take place at the NEW lot across from Coolidge Middle School. Children must arrive no later than 3:15pm and parents must be at the pick-up no later than 6:45pm. The program begins Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Program Fees: Lift/Ski Lesson/Transportation - $550
(NO SNOWBOARD LESSONS this year due to staffing, only SKI LESSONS)
Lift/Transportation - $395
Renting Equipment: A separate rental night will be held on Tuesday, November 28th at the Pleasant Street Center (Senior Center, 49 Pleasant Street) from 6:00PM-7:00PM. Ski Rental Corp. will fit renters for their ski/snowboard equipment. For information on rates, please contact Nashoba Valley directly, 978.692.3033. These fees must be paid on the rental night as payment is made directly to Ski Rental Corp, check, cash or card.
REFUND POLICY ~ PLEASE READ!!! ~
On or before December 14th:
Refund minus $10 in the form of a check or a full credit to your Reading Recreation account to use for future Reading Recreation programs.
After December 14th:
No refund checks or Reading Recreation account credits will be given for cancellations unless a doctor's note is provided.
